15 years ago, we started this project as a community development strategy to support young people discover their talents through Social Volunteers Serving Programs

We offer lots of benefits to members as an action oriented community movement.

We help Women For Free, and the men will pay a Little Fee of D365 for *Doing Good Ambassadors community services development. Introduction:

Doing Good is a community intervention program aimed at improving learning outcomes and deliverables outcomes.

The Internet Village Vocational Education and Training (TIVVET) provides all Doing Good Ambassadors learners with basic digital and physical essential Free Education for Women, added with advanced computer skills programs enhancing their employability, supporting their personal development and encouraging active citizenship participation in community building and development. TIVVET boosts individual and enterprise performance, competitiveness, partnership, collaboration, research and innovation.

empowered with digital computer system technologies #Digital #Skill #Apprenticeship #System which rely on a well-developed network of Gambian well known organizations and stakeholders. These networks are governed with the involvement of social partners, such as employers and trade unions, and in different bodies, for example governmet workers, community development committees, and local honorable councils, students.

From Cyber Café to Digital Revolution: The Internet Village Vision

Fifteen years after its founding, Internet Village has evolved into a transformative community network, empowering people with digital access, education, and economic opportunities.

Laying the Foundation for Digital Empowerment

In 2005, Joseph Jubril Robinson launched a digital cybercafé in The Gambia with limited internet access. Through satellite technology, the café became more than just an internet hub; it was a catalyst for digital empowerment. Offering essential services such as computer literacy training, printing, hardware supplies, and repair services, the cybercafé bridged the digital divide for individuals and schools, laying the foundation for Tujereng’s rise as a center for technological innovation.

Building a Community Network

By 2015, with no external grants or support, Robinson transformed Internet Village into a full-scale community network. The shift from dial-up to satellite-based internet extended connectivity to schools, healthcare facilities, and homes within a 100-meter radius.…
