Program Title: Doing Good: Practical Solutions for Community Empowerment in The GambiaTarget Audience: Students, Entrepreneurs, Community Leaders, and Change-MakersDuration: 12 Weeks (Flexible for adaptation)Objective: To equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to make impactful contributions to society while addressing real-world challenges using innovative and practical solutions.
MODULE 1: Introduction to Doing Good
Week 1: Understanding the Concept of Doing Good
Definition of "Doing Good" and its impact on society.
Ethical and sustainable approaches to community development.
Case studies: Successful "Doing Good" initiatives around the world.
Week 2: Challenges in The Gambia and Tujereng Case Study
Identifying key challenges in The Gambia: Food insecurity, unemployment, and digital illiteracy.
Introduction to Tujereng as a prototype village for Food Bank operations.
Overview of the Tujereng Food Bank's existing structure, food delivery system, and savings programs for stakeholders.
MODULE 2: The Food Bank as a Tool for Combating Hunger
Week 3: Overview of the Food Bank System
What is a Food Bank?
Logistics and management of food distribution.
Collaboration with farmers, suppliers, and donors.
Week 4: Tujereng as a Model Food Bank
Field visit to the Tujereng Food Bank branch.

Week 11: Integrating TIVVET with the Tujereng Food Bank and Wixad Software

Fieldwork: Engage in a TIVVET workshop or contribute to a Tujereng Food Bank initiative.
MODULE 5: Final Project and Sustainability Plan

Each participant designs and presents a project that integrates Food Bank, Wixad Software, and TIVVET to address a real community issue.
Tujereng Prototype Focus: Include plans for replicating the Tujereng Food Bank model in another community.
